HICKSTEAD - ALL ENGLAND SHOWJUMPING GROUND.

Located on the A23 20 miles north of

Brighton , Hickstead could be called

the home of British showjumping. With

many arenas set around the main ring

[ which is huge] the number and levels

of competitions running at once can

be mesmerising.

The main arena,

although one of the few remaining

grass arenas at this level, has recently

been upgraded with a new drainage

and irrigation system to ensure the

best possible going in all conditions.

The international arena warm up is all

weather, as is one of the outside rings,

which includes areas for arena

eventing such as a drop. The other all

weather area is used as a warm up

during international events, but is also

used for polo and some events during

the close season.

Showing,sidesaddle, Scurry,

showjumping and

many other equestrian disciplines. The

main arena is most famous for the

Hickstead Derby and includes the

iconic Derby Bank and Devil's Dyke.

The shopping , the facilities, the

parking, the eateries are top notch.

Your entrance ticket allows you access

to the covered or open grandstand in

the main arena and the outside rings.

Alternatively you can upgrade and

purchase members tickets and enjoy

the hospitality packages that are on

offer. And let's not forget the

BOUNCY CASTLE..
